Many old souls are familiar with the values of peace, love and understanding. These are part of ten core values (aka old soul values) that Ainslie’s spirit guides shared with him. And while at a soul-level, everyone aspires to embody these values, doing so becomes much easier as your soul ages.
In this week’s broadcast, Ainslie dives deep into the core value of understanding to illustrate how the search for meaning is inextricably linked to your soul age. Click the video below to watch.

EVERY EXPERIENCE TAKES YOU CLOSER TO EMBODYING THE 10 OLD SOUL CORE VALUES
Reincarnation is how all souls experience joy, trauma and even fear. Each experience, whether good or bad, takes your soul closer to embodying the core values all old souls share. ‘Walking the walk’ puts you on the path of a value that leads to the goal of that value. And in doing so, you embody the higher core value.
To illustrate, let’s delve deeper into the core value of understanding. Walking the path of understanding means making efforts to lose your assumptions about people unlike yourself, and to use empathy to put yourself in their shoes.
REINCARNATION HELPS SOULS LEARN NOT TO FEAR THOSE WHO ARE DIFFERENT FROM US
To dismiss any group of people is not considered spiritual. But due to the younger soul’s lack of experience with the core value of understanding, we see it all the time.
Without the understanding a soul gains through reincarnation, young souls see big differences between those of different colors, religions, social beliefs, sexuality, and gender. Which leads many young souls to feel the need to unite behind an enemy.
Depending on the time and place, it might be people of color, unwed mothers, communists, liberals, refugees, or anyone who identifies as LGBTQ. To young souls, the world is black and white, them and us, or good and bad. These either/or distinctions make it much easier for the young soul to comprehend.
YOUR SOUL AGE UNITES YOU WITH OTHERS WHO SHARE YOUR EMPATHY AND ACCEPTANCE
Most older souls see the world in shades of gray. The plus side of this viewpoint is that it makes them more accepting of others unlike themselves. The downside is that it makes them less organized as a force for change.
But what does unite us all are the ten old soul core values. Peace, Love, and Understanding are only three. The others include Cooperation, Respect, Knowledge, Equality, Justice, Truth and Freedom.
How easy or difficult it is for someone to embody these values is a clear indicator of their soul age. By keeping these values in sight, as old souls, we can stand up together for what’s right.
