YOUR DESIRES AND YOUR SOUL’S PERSONALITY SPEAK VOLUMES ABOUT THE EXPERIENCES YOU’LL HAVE WHILE YOU’RE HERE
Of the 10 desires, one of the more common ones is Safety. This desire doesn’t mean you’re risk averse. It means that your soul will work to make sure that nothing cuts its life plan short.
To achieve its purpose, your soul is always looking to explore and expand upon its knowledge. And a desire for Safety in no way prevents that from happening. Unless fears of Failure, Loss, or some other fear gets in the way.
A SOUL WITH A DESIRE FOR SAFETY WILL STILL TAKES CALCULATED RISKS TO ACHIEVE THEIR LIFE PLAN
While a trip up the Amazon may seem like a stretch for those with a desire for Safety, this isn’t always the case. The difference between that person and one with who doesn’t have the desire is that they will check into all details they possibly can before embarking on trip.
A person with no desire for Safety can also prepare well but is more likely to forget to bring something important, like a toothbrush. Or they’ll fail completely to prepare for something like injury or sickness.
THERE’S NO RIGHT OR WRONG, JUST DIFFERENT DESIRES
Not all people are attracted to those with identical values. Case in point: Ainslie has no desire for Safety and is happy ‘winging it’ on a trip, even overseas.
Christine, however, does have the desire. And her luggage is always much heavier because it’s filled with things like a first aid kit, umbrella, extra phone chargers, flashlights, and anything else that might be needed on their trip.
Together they make it work because they both respect each other’s desires
